day off, baking lessons, bad news from work

day off today. my friend al came over for a lesson in cake-making. we made a basic lemon drizzle cake and it was lovely. to make a nice day even nicer, while the cake was cooling in the tin we went to the cobblers for a few pints of harveys. lovely!
